About Me

Hello! I'm Summer Hatton/Brooks! I have always known my passion for art and design would eventually become my career, and I finally took the leap at Pierce College soaking up every and all design techniques. I am now proud to say I am a designer with a passion for visual storytelling, layout, and creative expression. I enjoy working across graphic design, photography, digital media, and UI/UX design. I love creating designs that feel purposeful, expressive, and visually appealing.

Programs I work with...

My creative workflow lives primarily in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma. I work with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and bring my web concepts to life using Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I also explore generative design through Adobe Firefly, using AI as a creative tool to introduce unexpected, slightly surreal elements that push my work in new directions.

What Inspires Me...

I’m inspired by bold editorial layouts and eye-catching, expressive typography. I live for color, sparkles, and a sense of uniqueness in everything I create. I’m drawn to work that balances structure with emotion...where design feels intentional, yet still alive, playful, and full of personality.

Love for creativity...

My love for art and design started early in life. I’ve always experienced the world visually, as if everything around me were part of a larger composition. I naturally find inspiration in everyday moments and constantly envision creative ideas taking shape.
